Carrie Foelber Holmes (she/her/HERS)
founder + wellness consultant + instructor
Carrie began Fettle with the vision of of redefining wellbeing into a more active + creative engagement with health. As a runner + yogi, movement has been crucial, not only for her physicality, but equally if not more so for her mental-emotional state. As a herbalist + (mostly) vegetarian cook, she recognizes earth-based consumables for their healing potential, both in the process of fashioning as well as ingesting. As an artist + writer, creative processing and aesthetic acts have been pivotal in fostering growth on all fronts.
Research + experimentation took the wheel in her pursuit of health after she grew tired of following expert after expert’s protocols for nutrition and fitness, most which on their own did not produce the hoped for results. Carrie began to curate her own WellDoing by examining her own make-up and weaving diverse modalities and philosophies. The result has been transformational and she hopes to share with others this ability to mentally, physically, and emotionally evolve. Carrie has a bachelors in studio art as well as holds certificates in yoga, reiki, and medicinal plants.
